Suzanne Levinson - BIO Home Bio Groups Demos Fees Lessons Flutist Suzanne Levinson is a free-lance performer and teacher, who has played professionally in Pittsburgh for over 25 years. She graduated from Duquesne University's conservatory program and studied with Bernard Goldberg & Julius Baker. A specialist in chamber music and concertizing, she has given recitals in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Canada, presenting rarely heard works and new music premieres. She has been a private flute & piccolo teacher in the South Hills for more than 30 years.

As a Wedding Musician, Ms. Levinson began with a flute & clarinet duo in 1985, and expanded the ensembles and repertoire. She has performed in duos/trios with cello, violin, oboe, piano, harp, percussion, string bass, French horn, bassoon, & voice. She is an avid arranger, transcriber, and composer, focusing on small chamber groups, particularly flute & cello. She revises all styles of music that are requested and collaborates with brides/grooms/parents to make every event more elegant with their favorite music. Of the many gigs she has done all over Pittsburgh, South Hills, North Hills, Meadville, Ohio, Washington, Greensburg, Cranberry, etc., each one is memorable in its own way!
